Fitness is defined as the condition of being physically fit and healthy. The quality of being suitable to fulfill a particular role or task. Exercise is an activity requiring physical effort, carried out especially to sustain or improve health and fitness. Fitness and Exercise obviously go hand in hand. Yet, it is possible to be fit without intentional exercise (gardening, going up and down stairs with laundry, playing with your child or pet). Exercise increases your fitness and overall health levels. Experts offer many suggestions for how much exercise we need (i.e. 30 minutes at least 3 times a week), but if you can exercise an hour a day, you will see better results for your body and health.
